This Usage Policy ("Policy") describes how Users are permitted to access and use the hipPitch platform, website, and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Sciome World Corp., a.k.a. hipPitch ("hipPitch," "Company," "we," "us," or "our").

This Policy is incorporated by reference into hipPitch's Terms and Conditions and must be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy, all of which are available at hippitch.net/app/content/terms-and-conditions.

By accessing or using the Platform, you ("User" or "you") agree to use the Platform only in the manner described in this Policy. Unauthorized or improper use of the Platform may result in suspension or permanent termination of your Account.

1. PURPOSE OF THE PLATFORM

hipPitch is a video-first professional platform designed to help individuals — including job seekers, students, creators, entrepreneurs, and professionals (collectively, "hipsters") — present themselves authentically, build meaningful professional connections, and create opportunities through the power of video.

The Platform is intended exclusively for lawful, professional, and personal career-related use. Any use of the Platform for purposes inconsistent with this mission is not permitted.

2. PERMITTED USES

Users are permitted to use the Platform for the following purposes:

2.1 Personal and Professional Presentation

Creating and maintaining a professional profile, including a headshot, bio, and professional background;
Recording and publishing a hipPitch (up to 90 seconds) to introduce yourself to potential employers, investors, collaborators, or other viewers;
Recording and publishing a Long Pitch (up to 10 minutes) to provide a more detailed professional or business presentation;
Generating and sharing your personal hipPitch URL on job applications, college submissions, sales outreach, creator profiles, business proposals, and similar professional contexts.

2.2 Networking and Connections

Discovering and connecting with other hipsters and Viewers on the Platform in a professional and respectful manner;
Engaging with other Users' content through comments, reactions, and direct messaging in accordance with the Platform's community standards;
Building a professional network relevant to your career, business, or creative endeavors.

2.3 Account Management

Registering for and maintaining an Account with accurate and up-to-date information;
Managing your profile, notification preferences, privacy settings, and subscription plan through your Account settings;
Contacting hipPitch's support team for assistance with your Account or Platform features.

2.4 Subscription and Premium Features

Subscribing to a Paid Plan to access enhanced Platform features, including priority Pitch placement, advanced analytics, and investor matching tools;
Managing, upgrading, downgrading, or cancelling a subscription plan in accordance with hipPitch's Terms and Conditions.

3. PLATFORM ACCESS

3.1 Authorized Access

Users are authorized to access the Platform solely through the following officially supported channels:

The hipPitch web application at hippitch.net;
The hipPitch mobile application on iOS and Android, as made available through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store;
Any other official channel or integration expressly authorized by hipPitch in writing.

3.2 Account-Based Access

Access to core Platform features requires a registered Account. Users must use their own Account credentials to access the Platform and may not share, transfer, or sell Account access to any third party.

3.3 Device and Network Responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring that their device, browser, and internet connection meet the technical requirements necessary to access the Platform. hipPitch does not guarantee Platform availability on all devices, operating systems, or network configurations.

4. CONTENT USAGE

4.1 Your Content

Users may submit, upload, and publish content on the Platform — including video pitches, profile information, comments, and messages ("User Content") — subject to the content standards set forth in hipPitch's Terms and Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy.

All User Content must be original, accurate, and lawfully owned or licensed by the User. By submitting User Content, Users grant hipPitch the license described in Section 5.1 of the Terms and Conditions.

4.2 hipPitch Content

All content, software, designs, trademarks, and other materials made available on the Platform by hipPitch ("hipPitch Content") are the exclusive property of hipPitch or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Users may view and interact with hipPitch Content solely for personal, non-commercial use in connection with the Platform. Users may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any hipPitch Content without hipPitch's prior express written consent.

4.3 Other Users' Content

Users may view, react to, and share other Users' content through the features provided on the Platform. Users may not download, reproduce, redistribute, or otherwise exploit another User's content outside of the Platform without the express permission of the content owner.

5. VIDEO PITCH USAGE

5.1 hipPitch (90-Second Pitch)

The hipPitch format is designed for concise, high-impact personal or professional introductions. Users agree to use this feature only for authentic, good-faith self-presentation. The following apply:

Available to all registered Users at no cost;
Must represent the User's own identity, experience, and professional background accurately;
May be shared via the User's personal hipPitch URL on external platforms, applications, and communications.

5.2 Long Pitch (10-Minute Pitch)

The Long Pitch format is designed for detailed professional or business presentations. Users agree to use this feature only for substantive, accurate, and lawful content. The following apply:

Available to Users on eligible subscription plans;
Must accurately represent the User, their business, or the subject matter of the Pitch;
May not be used to misrepresent business opportunities, financial projections, or investment potential in a manner that is false or misleading.

5.3 Professional Headshot

Users may use the Platform's headshot feature to generate or upload a professional profile image. All headshot content must accurately represent the User and must not use another person's likeness without authorization.

6. SHARING AND DISTRIBUTION

6.1 Personal URL

Each User is assigned a unique personal hipPitch URL upon registration. Users may share this URL freely in professional and personal contexts, including on resumes, LinkedIn profiles, email signatures, job applications, and business proposals.

6.2 Platform Sharing Features

Where the Platform provides sharing, embedding, or referral features, Users may use such features only for lawful, personal, and professional purposes. Users may not use Platform sharing features to distribute spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or content that violates this Policy or hipPitch's Acceptable Use Policy.

6.3 External Platforms

When sharing hipPitch content on external platforms, Users remain solely responsible for compliance with the terms of service and community guidelines of those external platforms. hipPitch is not responsible for any consequences arising from the sharing of hipPitch content on third-party platforms.

7. SUBSCRIPTION PLAN USAGE

7.1 Plan Restrictions

Each Paid Plan is licensed to a single User Account and may not be shared, resold, or transferred to any other individual or entity. Access to premium features is contingent on maintaining an active, valid subscription in good standing.

7.2 Fair Use of Premium Features

Users agree to use premium features — including analytics tools, priority placement, and investor matching — in good faith and for their intended professional purposes. Systematic or automated exploitation of premium features in a manner inconsistent with their intended use is not permitted.

7.3 Free Plan Limitations

Users on the free plan are subject to the feature limitations applicable to that plan as communicated at the time of registration and as updated from time to time by hipPitch. hipPitch reserves the right to modify the features available on the free plan at any time with reasonable notice.

8. API AND DEVELOPER ACCESS

Any access to hipPitch's data, services, or infrastructure via application programming interface (API) or any other programmatic means requires hipPitch's prior express written authorization. Unauthorized API access, scraping, or automated data collection is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material violation of this Policy and hipPitch's Terms and Conditions.

Authorized developers and integration partners must comply with any separate developer terms and technical guidelines issued by hipPitch.

9. MODIFICATIONS TO THE PLATFORM

hipPitch reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, functionality, or aspect of the Platform at any time, with or without notice, at its sole discretion. hipPitch shall not be liable to any User for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Platform or any feature thereof.

10. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY

hipPitch reserves the right to update, amend, or replace this Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to hippitch.net/app/content/usage-policy, and the updated Policy will bear a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
