By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to the use of cookies, you may adjust your browser or device settings as described in Section 5 below, or discontinue use of the Platform.
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website or use an application. They allow the Platform to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and provide you with a more personalized and efficient experience.
In addition to cookies, we may use similar tracking technologies such as:
Web beacons: Small transparent image files embedded in web pages or emails used to track user behavior and email open rates.

Session storage: Temporary storage that retains data only for the duration of a browser session.
Device identifiers: Unique identifiers associated with your mobile device used for analytics and functionality purposes.
All references to "cookies" in this policy include these similar technologies unless otherwise stated.
2. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. They enable core functionality such as account authentication, session management, security features, and access to secure areas of the Platform. 2.2 Performance and Analytics Cookies
These cookies collect information about how Users interact with the Platform — such as which pages are visited most often, how long Users spend on certain features, and any errors encountered. This data is used in aggregate to improve the performance, reliability, and usability of the Platform. We use analytics services to understand how our Platform is used.
Examples of what these cookies do:
Track videos watched, time spent on Platform features, and interaction patterns
Identify technical issues and errors to improve platform stability
Measure the effectiveness of Platform features and content

2.3 Functional Cookies
These cookies allow the Platform to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, personalized features. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have integrated into the Platform.
Examples of what these cookies do:
Remember your language, region, and display preferences
Retain your notification and privacy settings between sessions
Recognize you when you return to the Platform so you do not have to re-enter information
Support social features such as connections, comments, and reactions
2.4 Third-Party and Social Media Cookies
If you connect your hipPitch Account with a third-party service such as Google or Microsoft, those services may set their own cookies on your device. These cookies are governed by the respective third party's privacy and cookie policies, and hipPitch has no control over them. We encourage you to review the cookie and privacy policies of any third-party services you connect with through the Platform.
Additionally, the Platform may integrate third-party analytics tools that set cookies on your device for the purpose of understanding Platform usage. These third parties may use the data collected for their own purposes in accordance with their own privacy policies.
3. HOW WE USE COOKIES
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
Authentication and Security: To verify your identity, maintain your login session, and protect your Account from unauthorized access, including supporting OTP-based verification via SMS.
Platform Functionality: To remember your preferences, settings, and Account information so that you do not need to re-enter them each time you use the Platform.
Analytics and Performance: To understand how Users interact with the Platform, identify areas for improvement, and monitor the performance of Platform features including video pitches, profile views, and connection activity.
Personalization: To deliver content and recommendations that are relevant to you based on your usage patterns, profile information, and engagement history on the Platform.
Communications: To support notification preferences and ensure that account alerts, Pitch activity updates, and investor match notifications are delivered appropriately.
Legal and Compliance: To maintain records necessary for compliance with applicable law and to enforce our Terms and Conditions.
4. COOKIES AND YOUR DATA
Information collected through cookies may include:
Your IP address and general location data
Device type, operating system, and browser type
